1. Who we are and acceptance
Listenly is a service of Tame SpA, RUT (Chilean tax ID) 78.216.642-5, a Chilean company. By creating an account or using Listenly (the desktop app and this website) you accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree with them, do not use the service.
2. The service
Listenly transcribes your meetings, detects questions and suggests answers to you live, summarizes what was decided and keeps memories that you can look up later.
It does all of this with artificial intelligence, which can make mistakes: mistranscribe a word, leave something out or give a wrong answer. Check important information against its source (Listenly shows you which meeting each piece of information comes from). Listenly does not replace professional advice of any kind.
3. Your account
- You must be over 18 years of age and provide truthful information.
- The account is personal: one per person, and it is not shared.
- You are responsible for what happens with your account; let us know if you think someone else has accessed it.
4. Recordings and acceptable use
Listenly listens to your microphone and your computer's audio. You are responsible for informing the people in your meetings that they are being transcribed and for obtaining their consent when the law requires it. The app asks you to commit to doing so before your first meeting and offers you a ready-to-use notice.
You may not use Listenly to:
- Record or transcribe conversations without the authorization required by law.
- Transcribe conversations whose subject matter is sensitive data (for example, medical or psychological consultations) or data of children, without the express consent required by law.
- Process unlawful content or infringe the rights of third parties.
- Create multiple accounts, or use any other means, to get around the limits of your plan.
- Resell the service, copy it, or attempt to access its systems or other users' content.
5. Plans and limits
Listenly has a Free plan and paid plans. Currently:
- Free: 3 hours of listening a month, 20 questions a month, up to 3 spaces and 10 documents, 2 meetings in Sales mode a month to try it, no recording uploads.
- Pro: CLP $12,990 a month or CLP $129,900 a year, with 15 hours of listening a month, Sales mode, unlimited documents, questions and spaces, and recording uploads.
- Max: CLP $24,990 a month or CLP $249,900 a year, with 30 hours of listening a month, Sales mode, unlimited documents, questions and spaces, and recording uploads.
Free trial. When you create your account you get the Pro plan free for 3 months, with no card, with that plan's hours each month. When it ends you automatically move to the Free plan, with no charge of any kind, and you keep your meetings. It is once per person: creating other accounts to repeat it is getting around the plan's limits.
One hour of listening is one hour of meeting (live or an uploaded recording), even if your microphone and the call audio are listened to at the same time. Hours renew with each period and do not roll over. When they run out, Listenly stops transcribing until the next period or until you upgrade your plan; what has already been transcribed stays saved. Deleting a meeting does not give its hours back.
The current details are in Pricing. If we change a price we will notify you at least 30 days in advance, and the new price will apply from your next renewal.
6. Payments and renewal
- Paid plans are charged in Chilean pesos, VAT included, through Mercado Pago. We issue the corresponding receipt (boleta) for each charge.
- The subscription renews automatically every month or every year, as you choose, for the same amount, until you cancel it.
- If a charge fails, Mercado Pago will retry it for a few days; if it does not go through, your account will move to the Free plan without losing your meetings.
7. Cancellation, plan changes and refunds
- You can cancel whenever you want from My account. You will not be charged again and you keep your plan until the end of the period already paid; after that you move to the Free plan.
- Changing plans means subscribing to the new one: it is charged in full from that day and the previous subscription is cancelled. The unused part of the previous plan is not prorated.
- Periods already paid are not refunded, unless applicable law requires it or there is an improper charge, which we will refund.
Pursuant to article 3 bis of Law 19.496 (Chile), we inform you that the right of withdrawal does not apply to subscriptions, because the service becomes available immediately upon payment.
8. Your content
Your meetings, transcripts and memories are yours. You give us only the permission needed to process them and show them to you while you use Listenly, as explained in the Privacy Policy. We do not use them to train artificial intelligence models.
You are responsible for having the right to use the content you bring to Listenly.
If you use Listenly for your company or organization, it is the controller of the data in its meetings and Listenly processes that data on its behalf under the Data Processing Agreement, which forms part of these Terms.
9. Intellectual property
Listenly, its software, its brand and its design belong to Tame SpA. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable license to use the app while your account is active.
10. Availability and changes to the service
We work to keep Listenly always available, but there may be interruptions due to maintenance or failures of our providers. We may improve, change or withdraw features; if a change significantly reduces what your paid plan includes, we will notify you and you will be able to cancel.
11. Suspension and termination
You can stop using Listenly and delete your account at any time, from Settings in the app or from My account (or by writing to us at [email protected]). Before that you can download a copy of all your data.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms, especially the acceptable use rules. Except in serious cases or when the law prevents it, we will notify you beforehand and you will be able to ask us for a copy of your information.
12. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Listenly is not liable for indirect damages or for decisions made based on answers or summaries generated by artificial intelligence, and our total liability is limited to what you have paid in the last 12 months. Nothing in this limits the rights granted to you by Law 19.496 (Chile) on the protection of consumer rights.
13. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of Chile. Without prejudice to the rights granted to you by consumer law, any dispute will be submitted to the ordinary courts of Santiago.
If we change these Terms in a material way we will notify you before the changes apply. For any questions: [email protected].
